Picogiga gets certification

Picogiga International, a division of the Soitec Group it has been granted
ISO 9001 V2000 certification - making it the first pure-play supplier of compound epitaxial substrates to achieve this distinction.

Delivered on January 18, 2005 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance -- the ISO 9001 V2000 certification covers the development, manufacture and sales of Picogiga's compound semiconductor materials, which are developed using the company's proprietary MBE process.

The certificate award ensures that customers receive the highest quality III-V materials products they need to enable the development of their end-use devices.

"Receiving ISO certification marks another milestone in our strategic growth plan," noted Jean-Luc Ledys, Picogiga's COO.
