Sirenza Microdevices' high linearity, medium power SiGe HBT discrete transistor

Sirenza Microdevices announced the production release of a new SiGe high linearity, medium power discrete product. The SGA-9089Z offers versatility and high performance from 50-4000 MHz. It can be biased from 2.7-3.3V over a wide range of currents to deliver the optimum combination of linearity, noise figure and power up to 24dBm.

"The one-quarter watt SGA-9089Z is a key addition to Sirenza's family of low-cost medium power SiGe discrete devices," stated Jeff Gudewicz, Sirenza's SBU director, standard and catalog products. "It is ideal for high volume, cost-sensitive 3G, cellular, fixed wireless and various other low noise and driver amplifier applications. The SGA-9089Z extends the product range of the successful Sirenza SGA series."

The SGA-9089Z is available for immediate shipment in the RoHS/WEEE compliant SOT-89 package. Samples and application design support are available now.
