M/A-COM adds transistors and amplifiers

M/A-COM announced additions to its line of discrete devices and amplifiers. First, new GaAs transistors for WiMAX base stations and customer premise equipment (CPE) applications up to 3.8 GHz. Second, a pair of broadband, high-linearity driver amplifiers targeting wireless applications including base stations, WiMAX and WiBro.

M/A-COM's MAAP-003438-005PP0 and MAAP-003438-010PP0 are 12 volt GaAs PHEMTs that provide RF power levels of 5 and 10W, respectively.

The MAAMSS0056 and MAAMSS0057, M/A-COM's new two-stage driver amplifiers have a broad frequency range with high linearity and reliability. Available from stock, they are priced at $2.49 and $4.00, respectively in quantities of 12,000.
